ABOUT HYPNORICH
Rich Wilson has been a professional entertainer for thirty years. He
has graced the stages of just about every type of venue that is
available.
As a singer and impressionist, Rich has shared the stage with such
artists as Willie Nelson, The Platters, The Drifters, Charlie
Daniels, The Tokens, Toby Keith, The Del-Vikings, Alabama, Johnny
Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge, George Jones, Johnny Paycheck,
Martina McBride and many more.
It is through this amazing career that Rich became extremely
comfortable on every stage he worked. "It pays to always be
ready for just about anything because just about anything can
happen," says Wilson. "You never know what someone will
do, especially with hypnosis and so, you have to be prepared to take
control of the situation for the safety of the volunteers as well as
for the sake of the audience."
The HypnoRich performance grew into existence after Rich developed a
unique relationship with fellow hypnotist, the late Ed Madden from
New Jersey. Madden worked as a mentor to Wilson to help him fine
tune the art of what is known as stage hypnosis. "There are
very few people in the industry that would be as forthcoming with
the
so-called 'secrets' of stage hypnosis and Ed was just one of those
guys who opened his bag of tricks and shared his knowledge with me
and I am eternally grateful." Since
then, Rich has learned even more from master hypnotist, Dr.
H and the friendship is
growing every day.
The HypnoRich Stage Show is filled with a wide variety of routines
that are created to entertain everyone. A clean and completely
interactive performance that is designed to show how remarkable the
human mind is while sharing some wonderful laughs throughout the
show. "Nothing is done to embarrass people. Yes, some
volunteers can do some silly things while under hypnosis but none of
it is designed to make people look bad. I refuse to make anyone bark
like a dog or cluck like a chicken...it just will not happen at my
shows," says Wilson. Rich is a certified Stage Hypnotist.
